The Rossin Legacy Lives On…

The work of The Rossin Foundation is now multi-generational. The Foundation is chaired by Pete and Ada’s daughter, Joan Rossin Stephans. Peter Stephans serves as an officer and trustee. Also dedicated to preserving and furthering their grandparent’s vision, Elizabeth Stephans Baker and Katherine Stephans Dec also serve as trustees.

The Rossin Foundation was founded with the belief that we have a responsibility to give back to those that made our success possible.

The Peter and Ada Rossin Endowed Chair in Pediatric Cardiology

Esteemed Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC Cardiologist Awarded the Peter and Ada Rossin Endowed Chair in Pediatric Cardiology. The Chair was established in 2012, at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.

Dream Big Studio

In 2020 the Dream Big Studio, a television and radio station at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh had its grand opening. The Studio was funded entirely by the philanthropy of the Rossin Foundation and is part of the Creative and Expressive Arts Therapy Program.

Discovery Suite STEM Education

Part of the 2016 Spark Campaign at the Carnegie Science Center of Pittsburgh, The Joan Rossin Stephans Discovery Suite, is a hub for learning about computers, coding, video game design, digital animation, green-screen technology, 3D printing, and app design.
